A Field Exercise Gone Wrong

I was thinking it might be interesting to play a RPG storyline involving some sort of mission or field exercise gone horribly wrong. Say, a guerrilla army recently moved onto the island the training exercise is supposed to take place on or something. I figure this might be an interesting opportunity to force students from different houses to work together.

What do the rest of you think? Should we try something like this? Or concentrate on reviving the existing threads for the time being?
