Common Clothing and Accessories: When not wearing the required Mithril Fatigues, Kurz prefers to wear nice, but casual clothes, and often accessorizes lightly, accenting whatever he may be wearing with either a necklace or ring. He also can pull off high-end formal clothing when needed, whether it's for missions or otherwise.

Personality: Though mostly thought of as nothing but a shameless flirt due to his antics, Kurz has quite the serious side when it comes to his job and the events that have shaped his life. He enjoys having fun when he can, whether it be a prank or simply hanging out with his fellow soldiers in the bar at Merida Base. A very loyal and dedicated person, Kurz knows when to buckle down to get a job done, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to help keep his team mates alive when crap hits the fan.

History: Born in Tokyo on April 1, 1978, Kurz was raised in Edogawa, Tokyo, Japan, attending a normal public school in the area until the age of 14. At some point in middle school, his parents, who were reporters, were killed in a bombing. Showing an almost unnatural aptitude for shooting, he was later taken under the tutelage of Casper, one of the world's most deadly snipers. He practiced under Casper for two years, until while on a job, Kurz refused to sacrifice the life of a little girl who was in the way of a target. Unfortunately, the girl was gravely injured after the completion of the job, leaving deep emotional scars on Kurz, and ultimately lead to him leaving Casper's tutelage and finding his way as a freelance sniper and mercenary.

It's unknown just how and where Kurz came to receive his training, but just as with his other talents, he trained hard, becoming just as skilled with a rifle inside the cockpit as he was outside. Over the next few years, he survived as well as he could, and at one point found himself as a cover model for a soldier's magazine called 'The TAG'. It was also during this time that Kurz found himself in a battle in Lebanon, later saying that he was lucky to not have been killed. According to him, he had just barely survived the most deadly soldier he had ever faced against, never knowing that his opponent had actually been Sousuke.

A year later, Kurz was recruited for Mithril, and eventually filled the vacancy on the TDD-1 SRT as Urzu 6, taking the rank as Sergeant. Since then, Kurz has been sending the vast majority of his paychecks to anonymously pay off the hospital bills of the girl he almost killed.

"Yeah, alright..." Stretching as he stood, Kurz popped his neck and ran a hand through his hair. Pausing to wait while Melissa stood from her seat on the large arm of the couch, both of them made their way over near the small gathering in front of the television. Taking a seat near Zack, Kurz lightly punched the boy's arm with a smirk. Knowing for sure that he was fine had been more than a relief, and Kurz was welcoming back the demeanor he had lived in as he joked with his son. "Still breathin' Zacky boy, or should we try again?"

"Dad!"

"What? Don't worry, I won't miss you too much. Your Mom and I can just get busy makin' another one that'll look just like ya!"

"KURZ!" "DAD!"

"Ah, music to my ears..."
